At the IHA Show in 2017, ATG was approached to run sales for a new company looking to launch their item. We accepted this role as independent contractors
We shipped our first finished piece in June of 2017 and as of this writing (December, 2018) this manufacturer has landed year-round programs at Walmart, Kitchen Collection, SuperValu (and Unified SuperValu) Ace Hardware & Do it Best Hardware (both warehouse programs), The Grommet, Food52 plus a bunch more.
In addition to these majors we've landed almost 700 Gift & Gourmet Kitchen independent retailers who place orders constantly. Sales went from zero to $2.1 Million in 18 months.
What, specifically, did ATG do for them? (partial list) * We put together a nationwide network of key account reps and indie reps * We attend all major reviews and work closely with the reps to setup and manage key accounts * We call on and service several key accounts directly * We developed operational procedures to insure smooth and efficient growth * EDI Setup for several major retailers * We trained the factory to label and ship product directly to Bed Bath & Walmart to keep 3PL costs down. * All vendor and item setup for key accounts * We implemented a NetSuite ERP System and created processes within the system to help insure proper order processing, invoicing and inventory management * Participate in and influence product development strategy * Participate in and influence pricing strategies for retail * We work directly with the factory to keep the line moving and defectives at a minimum and inventory levels where they need to be * We worked directly with the 3PL to keep handling costs down * Whatever else was needed every single day
